Any suggestions on what to use for bedding? Pine shavings are SOOOO flammable!

I'm just waiting for someone to jump in and tell you that is an 'ee' ---
(every third or fourth picture posted here is labeled 'Easter-Egger')

I love your signature line!

It may be part Easter Egger! I suspect some kind of mad scientist thing happened out in my chicken coop!

We had a problem with mice, so I tried to make a rat-zapper and then decided to make a combination rat-zapper and waterer heater, to reduce the number of plugs!

There was a mild explosion, the mouse population has doubled, the hens have quit laying and now a baby dragon! Great, just great!

What's next, raining toads?!?!?

When I said 2011 would be the year of less for me, I did not mean chickens! I am now up to a modest 48 chickens (and 2 geese)! Whee!
