Not likely. But (to the original poster, if you ) want to post sharp clear pictures of her comb, we might be able to see if she’s inherited one or two copies of the pea comb gene. In my chickens, the pea comb gene is often inherited along with the blue egg gene. But there’s no guaranteesJust thinking, is it possible it's an araucana?
I thought of that, but "fluff" is there all of the time. None of the others have it and they are all siblings. I wonder if they will stay even when she is older? That would be so cute.Possible she’s inherited extra full feathering on her neck, along with the muffs and beard. Many of my EEs have that, and the roosters look like they have lions’ manes when they raise their hackles.
The only bulb I can find on mypetchicken is a 250w bulb. Yes they are hot. Even with a 250w heat lamp, there is no way you can hang that bulb that high and have 95 degrees on the floor. Something is wrong somewhere.
