Does duck change gender

No they can't switch genders. Old hens can get a hormone imbalance that makes them grow drake plumage and act more like a drake but they will never be able to fertilize the eggs and successfully breed the hens. They can look and act like a drake but can never actually switch genders, kinda like old chicken hens. Post a picture of the egg, if it is actually fertile then you have a drake in with those hens, post a picture of the ducks and we can tell you which one is the drake.

I know it's been said that they can. . but until I see it for myself I'm not going to believe it. :):p:cool::)
Sometimes a duck can present male characteristics, or a drake can lose their drake feather and look like a female. . there are anomalies that crop up sure. Just like sometimes a chicken hen can crow.
But I won't be convinced that a duck can actually turn into a drake unless it was proven a female, previously laid eggs. . and then suddenly stopped laying eggs and grew a penis.
My guess is you have a duck that looked like a girl but was actually a drake.
Or you have a hermaphrodite duck. That is plausible I suppose. :)

I am having trouble seeing it to, I can't tell if the white dot is in the center of a larger dot, to me if kinda looks like there is another pale circle around it.
I can't see a bulls eye.. but like you said its hars to see in the pic.
And agrred.. if its fertile than there's drake somewhere...

Could possibly be a wild duck stopping by for a visit if the girls are free ranging.
