Does duck change gender

This is a fertile egg:

Where I live we often have fertilized eggs in our supermarket eggs. Breeding them even let to a result of near 20 procent being fertile and resulting in chicks!

The problem;
Just like people, chicken/ducks/anything else come in great varieties. Sometimes a male chicken looks 100% like a female chicken, even by proffesional sexers. but in fact, has male genitalia. Often smaller then usual... but let that one run around in an free-range chicken coop, which in my country means a reaaaally big room with 5000+ female chickens....and voila; someone is in rooster-heaven with 4999 virgins and we end up with a lot of fertilized eggs ;') And since the chicken-farmers has a whole hall of 5000 female chicken that all look like female chicken; good luck finding the lucky man :p
And with 5000+ he isn't probably the only man in disguise...

You could test this. But is would involve quite some work. Rotating them, checking their eggs, keeping some locked up for a time, and I don't know how long the breedings season lasts where you live.

And is it worth it. What if one is a man in disguise. It has 3 females. And if you keep eating the eggs nothing is going to happen.
