Does letting the chickens out too late affect egg laying?

Between 5 - 7 months. Some breeds will start a little early and some a little late.

I agree with previous poster - - - when you see the squat dance it won't be to much longer - - - any day ! !
Get ready and start oiling the skillet for some farm fresh eggs.

I let mine out of the coop at 8 am every day. They all lay just fine. I do keep food and water in the coop at night. The reason I keep them in till 8 am is to sorta give the nieghbors a break. The roos do crow inside the coop but not nearly as loud as when I let them out in the morning lol.

Thanks to you both. Mine are about 4 1/2 months, so I guess I will just keep waiting.
