Does My Chicken Need Glasses

I got three new chicks in April. an Auracana and two Buff Orpingtons. I like to get all of my birds to eat out of my hand. Braveheart, one of the buffs, doesn't seem to have very good eye to beak coordination. If I have just a few seeds in my hand, she takes a while to get them all and often gets my hand instead of the seed. When I give the individual seeds held in my fingers, she often misses the mark by just a little. She obviously gets enough food, because she is only slightly smaller that the other buff. I just wonder how common this is?

Not so common in a very young chicken. It may be a genetic defect.

In chickens, the right eye has the job of finding food. You might want to inspect the right eye for any abnormalities - iris color fading, pupil shape distortion, cloudiness, swelling of the surrounding tissues.
Just saw your reply. I spend a lot of up close time with all the birds, and haven't noticed anything unusual looking, but I will give her a closer look. Thank you. If we hold the seeds a ljttle above her head, her accuracy is much better.
