DOES PINEAPPLE BELONG ON PIZZA!?

I've had a fruit pizza which was basically a cookie with fruit on it. That wasn't bad. Pineapple is allowed on fruit pizza but not any other kind.

Pineapple on pizza tastes good, but just seems wrong..
It's exactly like putting Orange or Watermelon on pizza. It could taste good, but why? I'd eat it, but it's still strange.
