In my recent thread I asked about the redness in between her toes. Someone suggested she may have scaley keg mites so I'm gonna make this short and simple. Yes or no? 😟 If she has it then my entire flock has it and it's not simple treating a Rooster who wont let u touch him.

I see why someone may think she has scaly mites.
Maybe pictures of the other flock members may help.
It is easier to catch at night when they are roosting.
It wouldn't hurt to do an epsom salt foot bath. Spa Day!

It's hard because they cover there feet when roosting. I'm gonna clean her feet tomrrow. I might not be able to give everyone a spa day because I cant really work with some especially my rooster. He freaks out and gets aggressive when being picked up

It may work to put a towel over his head to keep him calm but make sure he can breathe.

Um he takes things VERY personal so hes gonna hate me after that. Say I scare him not on purpose or even walk by him he looks at me like I invaded his privacy. I give him one look and he screams at me 😂

Do you put ashes/sulfur in the bedding or dust bath? Sometimes when ashes or sulfur get wet it can cause irritation on the chickens skin, not usually an issue because chickens don't often dust bathe in wet dirt, but it can irritate some of their feet.

There looks to be an irritation on one foot from a minor injury, but it does not look like scaly leg mites to me.
