No I dont use ashe or sulfer. I used to use DE in there bust bath but they never used it after a while and when we got there new run together they stopped using it so I took it out a while ago. They bathe in the dry dirt when they dig.Do you put ashes/sulfur in the bedding or dust bath? Sometimes when ashes or sulfur get wet it can cause irritation on the chickens skin, not usually an issue because chickens don't often dust bathe in wet dirt, but it can irritate some of their feet.
