Does she need feather help? Pin feathers and wax

My silkie chicken started moulting at the beginning of April, and she's pretty much done now but she has a bunch of feathers on her head with the sheath still on. Almost all the other ones are scratched off but I don't know that she can reach these ones. Will they come off on their own or does she need help? She doesn't really like it when I touch her a lot but they are beginning to get a little dirty. Most of them just turn to dust when I do manage to get a couple. I know not to touch the stiff ones and especially the ones with blood. Any advise is much appreciated

As new feathers push through the skin layer, they push out the old feathers. You don't need to do anything to help. Just be patient as the process is completed according to her individual time table.

I find that crested breeds struggle to lose the waxy sheath by themselves. Esp my polish. I grab them off the roost in the morning or at dusk, sit them on my lap and spend 20 mins gently rubbing the sheaths off with my fingers while holding them still. It's quite relaxing and they really don't mind.
