Does starter have grit ?

Does the starter feed have grit in it so that I can feed my 8 wk chicks vegetables? They are outside in a run and coop. Thanks

Usually starter does not have grit. You will want to buy some chick grit. Good job asking before just feeding them the veggies-you could have gotten them sick!

Most starter does not have grit. The bag's tag should show if there was some added.
