Does the color of a baby chick determine it's adult color?

I have chicks that hatched out the past few days. I have banty that hatched out today and it is white with just a bit of blue/black on top of head and on face. These are mixed breed babies but just curious if anyone has ever seen one born white before and if so what color might the feathers be? My little banty hens are in with roosters that are Black Copper Marans, Blue Marans, several banty roosters that are mixed colors, std blue/lavender cochins, black banty cochins and 2 barred rock mixed with something.
