Does this look like cancer?

He’s NOT enjoying confinement, eating and drinking, but I think it’s getting worse. The smell and appearance are awful. I don’t see how he’s even alive and doing as well as he is. I think we will him down tomorrow unless anyone thinks anything more can be done. He’s on antibiotics, I’ve tried soaking/softening(it’s not budging at all), topical ointments, wound cleaning, etc.

I don’t know if you can tell or not, but there are slits open to his body cavity. They look like they’re widening to me.
It's hard to tell in the photos, but from what I can see, it does look like it's quite deep.

You are there first hand to evaluate him, so do what you think is best for him. Not easy, I know. :hugs
 
In spite of this rooster insisting there is nothing wrong with him, all the rest of the world can see that he's stubbornly clinging to a body that has rejected him quite a while ago. I think when it's over with he will be grateful to you for releasing him from this ordeal.
