Yeah you dont want to over breed them. If they starting missing alot of feathers and the boys get to rough i would seprate them anyway.

Yeah. Plus if it is the rouen that is taking care of the eggs. The other two khakis will be lonely, she is their best friend. The rouen drake has been chasing the khaki girls everywhere. This is one of the reasons I got new ducks. Lol!

Lol. Sounds like you could pen them off already if you want. Breeding season is almost over anyway so they should calm down some. And yeah i have been seeing your post about the new ducks. How are the calls you got a little while ago doing?

Thats alot of ducks lol. I have 6 ducks. On the search for some females right now. I did have 8 but i sold a runner pair because the male was to agressivearound other males. So not i have 4 runner (2 boys 2 girls) 1 black swedish (boy) and 1 scovy ( still unsure one sex) My scovy is a micro though so its and indoor duck. It will be 11 weeks this weekend and is only 2lbs and not fully feathered. Just started getting in wing feathers this week actually. You might think i have to because i post pics of that one and its brother as a size comparison becuase Halion owns the brother.

Only 2lbs? Wow! Yes that is alot of ducks. But my ducks barley eat a thing! Except the ducklings! They eat alot! The big ducks only eat like 1/2lb a day! So the big ducks only eat eat 2 and a 1/2 lbs altogether a day. The ducklings eat like a lb each!!! Or.it seems like that. Lol!

lol I understand the food thing. Mine free range so they maybe eat 1/2 lb between all 5 of them all day and then Gizmo my micro eats like a horse! Any time there is food she is there. Have to be carefull around dinner time or she will jump up and steal your plate

And i do feed her plenty she just always wants food. She was originally suppose to be a mate for my lone swedish but i cant do that till she decides to grow up!
