Does this poop look normal?

It's not enough to have a crop empty just a little. As long as there is anything in it, it can begin to ferment. You do not want that.

Buy the kind of coconut oil that is unrefined, cold pressed, extra virgin. It tastes like coconuts, and chickens like it. I have a brand called Carrington Farms. But if you have to force the oil into her, it's easier to break off small chunks of chilled oil and give them to her as you would slip a pill into the beak.

Starting to jerk her neck which is a sign of an impacted crop ?
Going out to get some coconut oil now. Does she need anything after we remove what’s in there ?

Got the oil, going to try it now!

Yes they may try to adjust their crops by twisting the neck in a circular motion. All chickens do that sometimes, but when they repeatedly do it, that means there is a problem. I have had a few chickens with reproductive problems who later had crop impaction or sour crop. But crop issues can also be a primary illness.

Maggots to give her to eat or to treat her? Frankly, I wouldn't use them for either purpose in this hen's situation. She needs very simple, easily digested food for a few days until her digestive system returns to normal functioning.

Still nothing, taking her to a different vet later on today to get it taken out.
I saw her eating the straw around the run two weeks ago so maybe some of it got caught in her crop.
