Does this seem a little high for a chicken?

I raised two black Australorps from day old chicks. They only cost 2 bucks each, but I had them in the house for 4 weeks and I had them in the nursery for another 4 weeks.

Food, water, equipment, my time and effort and electricity if factored in would cause me shock i am sure.

The two are in the barn now, inseperable and GORGEOUS birds.

I would not sell them for less than 20 bucks each and they would both have to go to the same place.

I agree with everyone. $7 bucks is a very good deal. My pullets depending on the breed ranged $10 - 25 dollars. Birds that were older were a bit cheaper.
