Does this sound like a good maintenence mix?

that is true thanks I will go switch the timer they all went to roost and seemed alright last night but I will switch any way about how many hours should I give them?

Mine comes on between 3:30 and 4:00 am. I go for at least 12 hours of light. They ususally head into the roost around 5:00 or 5:30.

I just changed to come on at 3:30!
