Does this sound like a snake? (graphic description)

Coons beheaded two chickens I had in a qaurentine cage. IN A COON PROOF CAGE! It looked like the dang chickens just hung their heads out in offering, I don't know how the coons did it with the size of that cage, surely the birds would have been on the roost, or in the corner on the wall... but those coons fit their little finger hands in there, pulled the heads, chewed them off. Worse sight I ever saw, first and only time that happened. I couldn't understand how headless chickens were IN the cage! No damage to the cage! Not enough room to stick their heads through the bars! Surely not big enough for a coon to stick it's mouth in!

Snakes can't chew, they can only swallow or regurgitate. They may bite a chicken, but they know their swallowing abilities and they wouldn't be seeking anything bigger than a chick or egg to eat. If it was a snake, you'd see puncture wounds from a bite, but nothing missing.

"chewing" predators that don't finish the fowl would be coon, opossum, weasle, not-so-hungry fox, usually the small suspects.
