Does Yelling/ Slamming Doors Kill Incubating Eggs?

Oh yes I am. The lazy refers to my system of gardening: heavy mulch, (cuts way down on the weeds, and any weeds that grow are either turned into liquid fertilizer, left to do their thing, or become chicken fodder) letting plants self sow, trellising where I can so I don't have to bend over, And, I LOVE my cattle panels!
Thank you for that explanation. I always wondered. I guess I'm a lazy gardner, too

5 years ago I had 4 pullets and a huge garden. Now I have 97 chickens and a tiny garden

In 1997 I had 4 hens and a huge garden, now 80ish turkeys, 200ish chickens, and a total 1/4 acre of flower and vegetable gardens. My "lazy" is putting veggies in the flower beds to keep from having to till more ground.

I've given up on trying to keep nice flower gardens. Unless you count a few overgrown shrub roses, and a few tenacious irises clinging to the edges of the chicken dust bath craters. I used to have gorgeous flower beds, in the days BC.

My wife does all the landscaping. I build the coops and pens, handle the layout, then she comes back and builds the flower beds around them. The chickens have been a great hobby for us both to enjoy together. All my backyard is missing now is a carousel

edit: All of mine have separate pens. Too many critters coming out of the woods and sky

our vegetable gardens are almost as protected from predators as the chickens will be when they hatch. Sooo many hungry critters!
