Does your dog eat chicken poo ?!?!

I have three dogs and two are very keen on eating the chickens poo when ever they can find it. I've recently stopped allowing the chickens to free range because of the dogs chicken poo habit. My smallest dog (5lbs) is off and on sick. The dummy likes to eat chicken feed also when ever she can get to it. I'm always looking after her and what she is up to when she's outdoors, but she is very sneaky. Lately she has been vomiting and off and one she looses her appetite. Has anyone had this problem? She is seeing the vet on Monday afternoon. Thanks for any advice.

when i found out my dog was eatting chicken poo i would stop brinnger her in the barn and she hates not going in the barn i think she loves the chickens

Every dog I have ever met eats chicken poop. If they are not eating it they are rolling in it !

My dog eats chicken poo, chicken feed, horse poo, horse feed..he loves eating any scraps the pigs drop out of the pen, and also loves thier feed. I asked my vet about the poo eating..he says it won't hurt them because they eat grains...
Its nasty, I holler at him, he stops. Most of the time I just give up..lol

I will be glad when the pigs are gone..he loves crawling under the pen, then smells like pig poo...ewwwwww.

I think chicken poop to dogs is like chocolate to us. Try and stop me from chocolate....same with dogs.

I don't know if this will help but adding pineapple bits to the food, will stop a dog from eating it's own poo, it might work to feed it to the chickens (dried or fresh)

Our dogs eat any kind of poo they can find. That's why they call them $@&$ eating dogs.

High pro snacks just lying all over the yard? Yep! My dogs eat them and never have a moments problem. I love the fact I can free range all the time and never step in chicken poop!

AND....the best part is that the dogs will deposit their poo up in the orchard and the chickens will scratch it up and disperse it, peck through it and eat it....whatever....and it just disappears!

This is the no poop dance!
