Doesn't anyone have a social life outside of BYC?

Chicken people just "understand" don't they? Without all the explaining like when talking to "NCF" = Non Chicken Folk.

In fact the other day I was thinking there needed to be a topic added for the forum for BYC- social meeting.

I now BYC was not meant as a dateing website but so many great people now gather here and I am sure there are many in the same boat.

My DD is 24, Christian and having a hard time meeting any suitable guys that are either into bar hopping, girl hopping, or just plain weirdos with no jobs and no plans of working in the forseeable future.

(Shameless plug inserted here-she has a masters and is teaching special education in our local JR high. )

Country people are not in the main stream of cyber chats or E Harmonies etc. She is looking for a (dare I say it?) committed, plain ol' country boy that has a sence of humor and believes in hard work and God.

Anyway, I am glad BYC is here so then I can say I do socialize.

I am never lonely on BYC.....the cyber friends I have made have far more heart and real friendship and caring attitude than those "Friends" I have experienced in real life...and I'm no young'un!! ...................for me BYC cyberites rule......

and no I don't consider myself odd because I like my cyber life.....I would be very isolated without it....

Hey it's been 15 years since my son was into that and I still remember how to speak Thomas. It was that consistent!
