My dogs don't really eat raw eggs but they go crazy when they know eggs are boiling for them.
That was a deciding factor in getting some chickens and Ducks was the fact that my dogs love eggs. I think if they could they would live off eggs and sardines.
But I try to limit it obviously for their health.
So that being said it's going to be super hard at this point to reverse something especially when they're there without you. Dogs need to be corrected right away or else they really don't know what the correction is for.
