Dog attach, now other problems

Im wondering if they are egg bound or have broken eggs inside of them. If they were forming an egg and from the dog pouncing on them, if it cracked inside yher insides would have gotten cut and the yellow could be yolk. I would try an antibiotic from tsc. She pri has one mean infection going on. I hope the dog owner feels terrible. It takes a long time to raise a chicken to laying age.

I think that it is probably best to be prepared.:/ Our vet isn't really specialised with birds so I think he just has a general antibiotic, I don't know where to get it in your country though, sorry but I( will find the name for you if you like. If she isn't drinking I would slowly syringe a little into her mouth a few times a day just to give her energy. Maybe you could dissolve a little food in it or some minerals.... Please keep me posted and I will find out that name for you tomorrow.

The dog owners don't care, thats the problem! they are the same dogs that killed all 6 of our first chickens. They just let their dogs run wild all the time and have puppies every year, the puppies end up all in the road and everything! it's really sad, I plan on calling animal control tomorrow...

SHE IS BETTER THIS MORNING!! :) I heard her moving around some and got up to check on her. I think she has drank more of the asprin water and she ate almost a whole strawberry I offered her! I'm so excited, I hope this is her turning point!! I have to go back to work tomorrow so I hope she gets much better today so I won't worry about her tomorrow...

Thank you all so much for listening! I'll keep you guys posted today <3

I am still going to call our vet tomorrow and see about a general antibiotic

I've just noticed a few maggots in her bedding, what can i do to get the rest off of her? I don't know for sure they are on her, they may have fell off. My neighbor said the iodine would kill them, but these are alive, just not on her. I thought we got them all off yesterday, but I guess a few where hiding...

It took a long time for her to dry because she isn't walking around, so I'd rather not wet her whole body again... but I will if we need to.
