Dog attack...dog dead. update Pg 4

Good for you for "overbuilding" the coop. Hope the neighbor learns a lesson and doesn't let the remaining dog run loose in the future. These stories will continue as long as people get dogs and let them run unsupervised. The fines for letting a dog roam a large should be astronomical. Might be the only way to convince some people that they shouldn't bother getting a dog. Perhaps an indoor cat would suit them better.

I know a good rant when I see one!!

Dont forget to hug your "hero" dogs...

99 out of 100 would fail it if I wrote the test. LOL

I tend to agree.

RevaVirginia, I hugged both of them. I fully expect my ChiChi to be killed by something bigger than him...he is protective, fearless and stupid. He has cornered a mountain lion and survived, several dogs and 2 foxes. His day is coming and I know it...however, it will not happen with me standing there watching if I can help it.

LOL Fudgie...that stupid little thing loves the chickens and has since they were chicks. He always protects them and they peck him on the head.

These little doggies have a huge set of ummmm nerves on them, yes they do.

Him being his normal cute self:

Good for you and Chi Chi, protecting your flock. Good luck on your journey, be brave and take no s**t. My gun sits right by the back door. Just in case.

Oh gosh! I'm so glad Chichi is ok!! Crazy little dogs thinking they're all big and stuff!

I would have done the same thing. You do what you have to do. It's just a shame you have to go through all of that because other people can't be responsible pet owners.
