Dog attack-will she recover?

"Hopalong" is now hopping along nicely outside and even jump-flying onto the roof if the coop. I have to keep her separated from the other two because one of them went after her hard the first time my wife took her out there. When I was out tonight, the same hen went after her, but just a couple of pecks. They even foraged side by side!
What I'm wondering is if this is a dominance thing, a "new" hen in the yard, or if it's because she's injured. The funny thing is that the other hen leaves her alone so I'm wondering if the offending hen is goin to be an issue when we introduce "teenager" pullets in a couple of months

It's great to hear that she is recovering nicely. She is probably being pecked because she has lost her place in the pecking order, and because of her injury, but it doesn't sound too bad. The good thing about introducing new pullets is that their will be more than one. It's a little easier for a group to come into the flock rather than a single bird. Putting them behind a little fence for a few days inside the coop where the older birds can see them without hurting them would be best.

Interestingly, the offending hen is the one who fights back the most when our toy poodle plays with them. My wife thinks she's afraid to lose her spot as the new "alpha chick"
We'll continue with the "exposure therapy"

As you can she, she's roosting, a and doing so alongside one of the old coop-mates. I isolated the other hen because we have to be out there supervising because she's still going after the poor thing.
The question I had was in regards to the fact that she was hobbling along outside and ranging but the last few days she's being staying inside the confines of the coop and run, laying down for periods of time.
Is she...depressed? Brow-beaten?
