Hit 'em hard. I just went to court against my neighbors today. I won. Be the squeaky wheel. Keep at it until you are compensated. If he pays you without legal intervention, fine. If not, use all legal remedies at your disposal. I would also call your local law enforcement and see if you can press criminal charges. Good luck. Keep us posted! I personally love the paintball idea....
Some other things you can do to the paintballs.......

FREEZE THEM.....They hurt a heck of alot more when hit by a frozen paintball.

Put scents in them....in the hunting sections of stores they have all kinds of animal urine smells, bucks in rut smells, even skunk scents. Or if you can handle the smell yourself GOAT PEE(from the bucks)...That's nasty stuff too...
TeaTree has a not so liked smell (although I don't mind it)


If all else fails and you don't have a paintball gun grab a potato launcher...Everyone has one of those!!! (don't they lol)
