If you decide to wrap I’d put a pad that won’t stick to her wound before you put gauze or vet wrap on her. Also I’d keep her on old towels that are clean to keep anything from getting into the wound( thinking bedding) Also if you live where flies may be a problem I’d Keep inside you don’t want flies laying eggs in her wound. Clip feathers from around the wound so when it starts closing (healing) the feathers don’t get closed up inside. If in shock she needs to be kept warm. It’s amazing how they can heal from wounds like she has. Hopefully she’ll heal fine.
