I would seperate her, keep her warm and quiet, push fluids, and apply triple antibiotic (without pain reliever) to her wound. Keeping her warm and quiet, and pushing fluids is important to stave off shock. Wishing you the best of luck![]()

I don't see the need for an oral antibiotic. A simple triple antibiotic like neosporin applied directly to the wound should suffice. Definitely push water. Hold a bowl of water up to her beak several times per day to ensure she is drinking. The pain relief in some triple antibiotic ointments is toxic to chickens.also I was just wondering why without pain relief ?
