Yes we expected at least 4, we currently have 3

I have purebred GSP's and had a litter of 9 pups. My girl was a little nervous at first and I had to help break the first sac but she took right too it after a bit and delivered all 9 perfectly. The natural mom instinct kicks in and takes over. I sat in the whelping box with her and just tried to keep her calm. Good luck !
