Wow! I paid $300 for my lab mix. I think I paid the same for my boxer when I got her. But I was friends with the people who I got her from. When I got my dog as a puppy, she was only $20! I got a good deal!
Wow! Labs are pretty expensive, I had a lab once, she was $300!Wow! I paid $300 for my lab mix. I think I paid the same for my boxer when I got her. But I was friends with the people who I got her from.
They can be expensive because of all the things you need to do with the Vet...vaccinations, heartworm, flea & tick meds...etc. Just because of their weight. But I wouldn't trade her for anything. It's true that Labs love to chew, you have to make sure when they are puppies/teenagers that they don't have anything around them that they aren't allowed to chew on, plus make sure they have several things that they CAN chew on. Kalia chewed on a wooden chair leg even though she had plenty of chewing toys/bones, etc. I just covered it with foil and she left it alone. There has really only been a couple of things that she chewed that she wasn't supposed to, but only when she was in that stage (puppy/teenager). Now, she is 4 years old, and it's probably been at least a couple of years since she chewed on something she's not supposed to. She's still a big chewer, but we have lots of things she can chew on, Kongs to keep her busy, etc when we aren't home with her.Wow! Labs are pretty expensive, I had a lab once, she was $300!
But I had to get rid of her because she would chew up everything! She barked a lot too
