Velvet suddenly come dashing out to fight the wolf!, But to late, the she-wolf strikes at pippins throat and gashes it open. Velvet growls at the she wolf and leaps at her but the she wolf escapes and runs off into the forest.

Nessa groaned and laid down. When she reached her friends she would be of no use. Her shoulder would prevent her from doing anything. She dragged herself back to her den. "Kye." She whispered. "Kye, something is wrong. go help." She panted. Kye bounded away.

Scourge protectively stood in front of Pippin and the puppies. Her hair stood on end and her teeth bared, she growled as the She-wolf took a leap towards Her. Throwing her like a rag-doll against the wall , the wolf snarled. Scourge was cold out.

Holly, burning with anger at what the wolf had just done threw herself at the wolf and latched on to the wolfs throat. Hanging on the wolf as she thrashed around. Gyp leaped up but was batted down by the wolfs huge paws. "Pippin!! Get help!" Gyp managed to say through the wolfs blows. Pippin turned to run, but the she-wolf caught on. She sprinted over, grabbed Pippin in her jaws and flung the little dog against a rock. Pippin let out a yelp, but it was silenced halfway through. Holly dropped to the ground and stared at Pippin's still body. The she-wolf padded up to her and whispered in her ear "You and yur litle doggy frind ar next."

Kye bounded around the corner. "KYE!! HELP!!" Holly screamed as the she-wolf grabbed her and pounded her against the ground.

Kye looked startled for an instant,but the next her leaped onto the wolf (whose name is Vanessa) and latched onto her ear. Vanessa yelped and let go of Holly.She thrashed around, and Kye half tumbled half jumped off.
