my neighbours dogs eat chicken poo.. but most weird of all they eat guiena pig poo.. i was like

Be glad it's just poop!
My old beagle mix has pica, I swear! (I don't know if non-humans can have pica, but she does). She eats poops of all variety, wood, bark, clay, dirt, grass, hay, wood shavings, stray feathers, and just about anything else that fits in her mouth. Up they come if they can't be digested, and if you aren't there to stop her, down they go again for another run through her digestive tract.

That's in addition to all the regular nasty things all dogs eat!

NOTE: She is NOT lacking in any nutrients - she has cancer and is on an amply suplemented and expensive diet. She's just naughty!

what amazes me is that they say don't give your dogs chocolate or onions and a few other things...but they eat DEAD THINGS FOR PETE'S SAKE. I found an empty valentine's box in my daughter's bedroom one day. She had just got it so I was surprised she had eaten it already as she is not a big chocolate eater. Come to find out she thought I had eaten her box of chocolates!! Not so!! Only other party who could have eaten it and slept with her was our dachshund

We have no doubt it was him.

Man this is a great site.....I just cleaned out the coop and dumped the poop around the base of a tree (I only have 3 so it wasn't a substantial amount) and next thing I know I'm screaming at my Faithful Hounds to "Stop eating that $#1+!!!!".... So I wonder if others have experienced the same, and lo and behold, you have!!

Does ANYBODY know how to get the dogs to stop eating the poop? Even if I keep my hens penned that isnt an option with the Guineas. Iam almost 100% sure my dog is allergis to the poop and it is causeing MAJOR skin problems for him and Iam at a total loss for what to do. We've tried scolding him but he still get into it when were not looking. Is there anything I can feed to the chickens/guineas that will make their poop taste bad to the dog????? I really need HELP!
