dog eating poop

not sure if i am putting this in right section.
hubby says that our dog is eating chicken poop from yard. not sure if i have seen it but he is freaking out about it.
Please tell me my dog is not going to die from this that the worse that could happen is he could grow a wing or two.

No answers for you, but my dog has been "cleaning up the lawn" for about 3 months now and he seems healthy enough.

My dog follows the chickens around waiting for a treat to drop out.

We have an Italian Greyhound that cleans up after the chickens and will keep a litter box clean if she can get to it. She even trys to sneak up behind our lab when we are not looking. She is 11 yrs old and has 1 tooth in her mouth. I think she lives off of poo!

Our dog does the same thing. No matter how much we yell at him he continues, but it doesn't seem to hurt him.

GF and i went on a hike today with the 2 dogs. first time she had seen them around horse manure. they loved it, she did not love seeing them eat it...humor commenced
