dog eating poop

mine have been on the "flying Pez dispenser" diet for many months now with no ill effects. (As you can see, Fiona likes it fresh)
It's like crack, they all run out and start frantically hoovering the ground after the girls have been out for their stretch and scratch.

it must be like crack to him, he has been pacing back and forth continuously for the past 2 weeks. he wants to be outside all the time. i say let him stay out he will come back but hubby is to paranoid. he stands at door to watch dog. he hates my chickens but loves the eggs

Mine do it with cat poop - we have to watch them when they go outside to go potty so they don't go searching for a "kitty treat".

After we get more fence built, we are thinking about letting them free range our whole backyard - right now they are in a coop with an enclosed run attached. I can't wait for the chicken poop in the yard, and the ensuing dog feeding frenzy...

I don't know why, but my dogs LOVE cat poop! I just hate them licking my face after they've had a snack.
