Dog paralysis..any ideas? *UPDATE*

Happy to hear it's ok. Now how do you get a dog not to eat chicken yummies?? And to think I was thinking of starting my own line of dog treats. Could have made a fortune.

She's going potty out front on a leash until we get the chickens area fenced off better so she doesn't have access to snacks

Oh...and DH brought home a new puppy today too after he was sure Kita's issue wasn't contagious

She's SWEEEEEEEEEET though!

In Tennessee, I have had two cases where a particular type of tick attached itself to a dog and caused paralysis, Vet removed the tick and the dog immediately could walk and function again. Second dog, same symptoms, I searched for the tick, finally found it on the inside of back leg. Removed it and again the dog immediately was in recovery.

Listen to the vet. Let her/him decide what the dog has, and if a vaccine would help. Some vaccinations are quite capable of fighting current illness, some will not take effect if the animal's immune system is suppressed (suppressed does not necessarily mean it is already sick). It depends on what the dog has.

Feed your dog some Greek yogurt a couple times a day. It will help the "flora" in her gutt get back to normal
