She's adorable!

Hattie
10 years
Border Collie
Female
Hattie came to live with us after BAER testing showed she was losing her hearing and the breeder couldn't keep her. She has Early Onset Deafness and is completely deaf now. She had been trained to work sheep when we got her, so we set up our place for sheep and Hattie continues to do the work she loves. We communicate with hand signals. Hattie moves the sheep between fields, walking them around the neighborhood daily, to the delight of our neighbors.

Everything you would expect a little dog to be.
He saved my life. Without him I would still be living everyday in a straight up panic attack. It’s like he took my problem on hisself. This is why I spend my time trying to make him happy and safe feeling. He has made a huge impact in my family. He always wants attention and someone to just touch him. It makes him feel safe. He lights up my world everyday. As each person wakes up in the morning he has to go to them and make sure they are ok. He gets a bunch of kisses and pets and when he knows you are ok for the day he leaves you alone. He might be a little dog but he has more love than any large dog.
