Dog thread!🐾

I'm a little confused... but I bet that's fun! 🤣
I own three dogs, Misty, Winnie and Wizard. Misty was/is my first ever dog, I got Winnie cause Misty's getting older and I wanted another dog that was purely and 100% mine. Wizard just happened and is basically a rescue, wasn't supposed to be "mine" but as soon as I saw him I claimed him forever 😆
The two dogs in those pictures are unofficially mine in that I raised them and am basically responsible for them in every way except financial. I look after every other dog my family owns at some point or other too 😅

That makes sense!

Tuckers tail is worse. This morning after feeding him i went to go re wrap his tail as he chewed it off last night and he yelped super loud i had only just touched his tail. And he has been holding it limp today, still wagging the tip. So time for another vet visit.
And im so hoping they have a different way then amputation.

I thought you where keeping him in a muzzle or cone?

I was but i didnt last night and it was a mistake. He hadnt touched it all day then just did it last night.
It was my fault.
But i dont understand why his tail just seems limp almost like he injured it again.
Hopefully he doesn't have an infection setting in. I understand not wanting to keep a cone on. I always feel guilty putting one on my dogs too.

Alright so our vet wasnt able to fit him in today and neither was the one in town. But they did a quick video call and had us come get some ointment for the tip of his tail. They think his tail is limp beacuse of over extending a muscle in his tail which is called limber tail or swimmers tail. They said for that to do warm compresses 3 times daily to relax the muscle. And we are going to get a medication for that to since he is in pain.
But limbers tail can be caused by happy tail
