Is it very infected or only just starting? Did they give her any antibiotics post surgery?

Sorry for the questions, I'm nosy with stuff like this

My usual vet (well, it's a new vet at the same clinic) did not send us home with antibiotics post surgery nor did they give us an e-collar. I was very confused. The vet we visited today is not my usual vet and was definitely surprised we didn't get those things earlier. This could have all been prevented!

Yes, it probably could've. So she was licking?
At my work not every surgery patient will go home with antibiotics but generally will still get an injection. It varies by patient. And e-collar is kinda just common sense to send home Hopefully the antibiotics can get on top of it quickly!

Oops, I forgot to answer this. The vet said it was on the cusp of being quite bad.

Yes, she was licking it. I would tell her to stop, but she would do it while I wasn't paying attention.

Brew’s Christmas presents LOL

My aunt bought me the antler dog for him for Christmas and I just bought the other two earlier today. The chews there was a big coupon that was like $5.39 or similar off. It was def over $5. LOL so that was awesome. And Brew has two duckies from the same brand as the octopus toy.
