You mean the irony? I personally don't. Mist of us here don't have working, health tested, proven dogs. But we don't plan on breeding

It’s not that serious. She was just trying to show off her cute dog and make a joke. Most people hate on doodles constantly so that’s why she did it.

Well, we were talking about which dogs should be bred/ethical breeding practices, not necessarily well-bred dogs in general

I’ve seen a lot of people hate on the dogs themselves. Especially on dogbook (dog side of Facebook). In fact, just today someone was trying to rehome their doodle and people were being extremely rude and making so many unnecessary comments about how much they hate doodles, etc. It happens a lot, believe it or not. They also hate on the owners of them a lot.

I have seen that a lot as well . It does the opposite of helping teach people why doodles aren’t ethically bred and the owners and dogs don’t deserve it

Btw I have purebred pets. My dogs have no jobs, every now and then I'll do a show for fun or something. I did breed my eldest (Misty), and will likely breed Winnie a few times because I love my breed and have been extremely lucky in that I got a full registered dog from one of the healthiest lines of Tenties I know.

Yeah it’s ridiculous. And there are doodle breeders that health test and do sports and stuff and even some that breed relatively true now and breed multigenerational to multigenerational (they don’t call themselves doodles now cause of the hate) but still.

I would really like to find a ethical doodle breeder! So if anybody knows of one post a link/kennel name!

we all make mistakes and learn! I hope you stick around still! And if we are complaining about doodle owners or doodle breeders remember it’s not aimed at you! As long as you learn from your mistakes

Yeah, it’s sad and just makes people buy them more. And I forget the names unfortunately.

Thats never easy to deal with! But you can be happy thinking of the fact you don't need to take a 37+kg nervous grumpy dog to the vet! Not looking forward to taking Twiggy and Pikelet to the vet
