Boston's are a very diverse breed. They range in weight from 15 to 25 pounds and I've even seems some 10 pound Boston's, and some 40 pound Boston's. Your beautiful Dory is a petite lady and is gorgeous. You keep her in great shape. How about this lanky thing?I just weighed her and she is 19lbs. on the dot. This is her ideal weight. Her ribs have a small amount of padding, her abdomen is tucked, and her waste is visible.

I think a Boston is in a good weight when you can't see the ribs when standing, but when moving you can see them as the dog takes a stride. My Shorty goes up and down a bit in weight. Putting on a few extra in winter, and losing it just in time for the swimsuit season. Mine has a bit of French bulldog in her so she carries some brawn, but favors the Boston most.
