I personally would stop trying to keep her away. I feel like the fact that because she got worse when you started being gone more is saying something. I would just let her be where she wants to be and mostly ignore her. If she wants to follow you around, fine, just donāt baby talk her. Chase got a lot worse when I was working full time too, he completely stopped eating, even when I was home. I was having to put egg and meat to his food to get him to eat because he had lost a bit of weight. When I stopped working full time he went back to the way he was before. Maybe you need to let her be with you as much as you can and the only time she isnāt with you is when you are at work. That is what I would do, but of course that could possibly make it worse, so just do what you think is best.Bad night last night. Luna was the most clingy she's EVER been. She got through the barrier into my room a couple times and looked so pitiful with her tail underneath her when I told her to get out. I closed the door but she barked and pawed at the door. I put her in the crate but she barked and whined until morning. What has happened to her?! She used to PREFER to sleep in a different room. I suppose it could be that she's in physical pain. She did seem to have tummy trouble. Now she's following me all over the house. This can't continue. But I don't know how to tell her to leave me alone with that puppy face she's been giving me.

This was supposed to be quoting the first post lol sorryI would take her to the vet to rule out any medical issues first especially since this is a relatively new issue and sudden behavior changes can often be medical (I know sheās always had separation anxiety but the severity is new, right?) plus you said she was having stomach issues too. Once thatās been ruled out, if itās ruled out, then I would try what @Squawkers said honestly. It canāt hurt. If it doesnāt work, you can try something else.
Okay, thanks! She's had stomach issues since we got her, so that isn't new. And she had her annual exam last month and had a tumor checked and the vet wasn't concerned. The only other thing that has changed is I switched her food this summer, but I think she was clingy before then.I would take her to the vet to rule out any medical issues first especially since this is a relatively new issue and sudden behavior changes can often be medical (I know sheās always had separation anxiety but the severity is new, right?) plus you said she was having stomach issues too. Ahhhh okay that makes sense!!!! Sounds like sheās probably okay then but I would still get her checked again just to be sureOkay, thanks! She's had stomach issues since we got her, so that isn't new.
