Dog thread!🐾

Yeah, for some dogs I could see that not being good, and my Dorie would likely be one of them. She has other unhealthy obsessions that literally keep her up at night, keep her from drinking water, etc., so I definitely wouldn't want to use a laser around her.
That’s interesting, i was always a little confused when people said you shouldn't use laser lights, it makes more sense now.

Took both pups on walks earlier it was 36 and beautiful out😅.
Denver was pretty good except for shoving her face in the snow and stopping to roll a few to many times.

Tucker reacted towards inflatables and a cat(my fault i didnt see the cat🤦‍♀️). Then someone with a weimaraner started coming towards us Tucker went to react(growled and barked )i gently pulled him back and he stopped focused on me and we walked all the way home with no other issue. Thats really good compared to what his normal reaction is.
Then we were doing sits, stays, middle, left to right heel. And side walking(walking sideways) he listened immediately on the walk and he wasnt watching everywhere for something

I also walked!!!! Brew was very very very good!!!!! We saw several people, a cat, and another dog and Brew didn’t react once!!!!! He cried and wagged a little at the second set of people but kept walking and the cat he went on high alert with tail up and I think hackles/back hair very slightly raised and watching intently but didn’t make a peep or react otherwise. I was also talking calmly to him which maybe helped? IDK. The dog he didn’t even glance at or make a peep. We just walked right past but they were slightly further away. So IDK. Normally he would be lunging and crying and reacting but I’ll take it LOL he had his e collar on but I didn’t need to hit any buttons at all!!!!! He was just that good!!!!!

Thats great!

Honestly i think Tucker thinks a cat is prey😭. I doubt he was around cats as a puppy and our neighbors cat always ran from him. Denver loves cats though she was around a bunch as a puppy and our neighbors cat tolerates her.

Yeah I think Brew thinks the same. Loved ours. Hates all others.

Me and my close and extended family are at a cabin we rented for Christmas. I have Chase and there are about ten other family members and he is doing so good. Even with 7 and 8 year olds running around crazy he is so laid back and not nervous at all. He just stays with me and ignores the other people. And there are hiking trails that I went on and he had a lot of fun. We passed another dog and he did so good to come back into heel (not that that surprises me, I wouldn’t allow him off leash if I didn’t know he would) And the weather is nice too. It was 75 today.
