I’m looking for a zapper stick thingie to take on walks with me for loose dogs. So far I haven’t ever wished I had had one, but I want to get something before I do. Last time we were charged I just put Chase in a sit stay and rounded up the loose dog, but I’m worried that next time the dog will be more aggressive. I found this one, but it doesn’t have very many reviews. Does anyone have one that they like? I want something fairly long so I don’t get bit

Ive heard heeling sticks work. I personally carry another leash. I thought about getting a zapping one But i shouldnt have to deal with off leash dogs anymore. Everyone here is right outside with their dogs are they are on leashes.

yeahhh she’s great. I don’t understand how she’s so mellow around animals, I guess she’s just been around them enough.

There is a gorgeous Dalmation in town
and then 2 standard poodles a retired police belgian mal, a husky, and a golden so far.
Our backdoor neighbor has a poodle and a yorkie mix(it was dark so i wasnt sure)

We also had a skunk in our yard the other night

I’ll have to look into those. I usually take chases leash off of him while he is sitting and use that one if I need to, but it very rarely happens. That’s good! I bet you are relieved.

Ive always wanted a lot of dogs at once but 2 is the max right now. If i had land with animals it would go up livestock guardians, herders, plus my sport dog . Im happy with mine though.
I feel if i were to add another it would offset everything.
