Dog thread!🐾

This is Brownie. I have shown her before. She is a great little dog and appears healthy in every way except she has a chronic cough. The cough started about 6 months ago. At this time we do not have the money to afford the veterinarian. Any suggestions? It is not life threatening or something that's spreads-contagious.

Our new vet helps over the phone as much as they can maybe call a local vet?

We will try the calling the vet. Last time it was a no but we will try again. Has anyone use the vet's online?

Try a different local vet.
Our old vet was bad waiting weeks for phone calls and emails. Leaving us to figure it out for ourselves as they didnt have any extra time for appt.

We have cold winters to though so they would need that coat here. But i totally get that

That’s true, I don’t have to worry about winter here. If it did get super cold I would probably let it in the house though.

I know some people love it but it’s not for me

I want like 2 or 3 pyrs lol and some others with them so I'd like around 5 dogs at once. I'd settle for 1 or 2 pyrs if I substitute with a newf lol

There is a gorgeous Dalmation in town
and then 2 standard poodles a retired police belgian mal, a husky, and a golden so far.
Our backdoor neighbor has a poodle and a yorkie mix(it was dark so i wasnt sure)

We also had a skunk in our yard the other night

That’s true, I don’t have to worry about winter here. If it did get super cold I would probably let it in the house though.

Id have shelters(a barn). Though they probably wouldnt use then.

So… you’re going to spend about 5,000 dollars a month feeding 5 100+ pound dogs raw?

I like all those, but I would prefer the Anatolian because of the shorter hair. For an outside dog I think it would be way harder to keep up with their coat.

Actually a working line pyr's coat is surprisingly easy to keep up. The coat shouldn't mat easy and should repel dirt and water and dry easy. A show or companion line won't be like that though
