Dog thread!🐾

And hybrid mixes can often end up bigger than the original parents in my experiences. For instance my oldest Boston bulldog mix has a 15 pound Boston mom, and a 25 pound frenchie dad, and she ended up being around 38 pounds as an adult. It doesn't always happen that way, as my Chihuahua rat terrier mix was only 12 pounds. She was between the size of her parents.
Oh wow!!!!!!!! And yeah, a lot of doodles end up HUGE LOL

Does anyone have any thoughts on putting weight on a dog? Wizard seems to go backwards more than forward. He's on puppy food and eats it well, I do need to up the number of times a day he eats but I'm wondering if I should try changing his food brand too.
Is it a higher calorie food? He's an older dog?

Not sure how good this is for long term health, but at the vet we always gave underweight dogs puppy food

I'm not sure what the calorie count is or anything but it is a puppy food, he's been on it for a few months now. No, he's not older, just turned 3.
