Dog thread!🐾

I hate when people just approach without asking and start petting. Everyone in my town and family/frienda ask before petting even if they pet them before.
I got a couple custom patches for my dog's backpack that say "nervous rescue ask to approach" and it worked great! Everyone asked, even the kids (who I had to turn down because my dog's afraid of kids).

My biggest issue with people petting random dogs is not even the rudeness, it's the stupidity.
I've several times had wandering dogs come up to me when I am walking, and I wouldn't dream of touching them cause I don't know them or how they'll react! I don't want a pet if I'm risking a bite.

The training class we took Tucker to uses harnesses from BrilliantK-9 they have like a 7 year warranty and then for 25 dollars to send it in and can have it fixed. Im getting one for Denver, and once i make sure Tucker is done growing which he hasnt grown much since 3 months old.i will get him one to. I plan on getting some patches.

He hasn’t grown since 3 months? How old is he now? That’s a little concerning, no? Has he seen a vet?

I only approach dogs i know. Like a collie in town who is mistreated. The humane society wont do a thing. But he gets out and ill take care of him for 30 minutes to a hour then return him.
