I really dont wanna muzzle him, but it could be necessary. My aunt muzzle trained hers as people have walked up and not asked to pet her. And she has reacted. She is a unpredictable, at moments she can be ok then the next second going crazy. They rescued her at 5 months old not knowing her history but they do think that she was abused as she doesnt like men wearing hats specifically. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask! I have only seen them with writing as well as colour
sameat least it does stops some people
I have a leash wrap that says “space needed“ I also have circler parches that have a hand in the middle with a red line through it, they do say “don’t pet me I am working“ but you might find a version without the working bit, not even sure it matters too much its says working on it, I don’t think most people read it
In training doesn’t necessarily mean service dog nor is it deceiving people if that’s what you’re thinking. There’s lots of things to be training for.I really dont wanna muzzle him, but it could be necessary. My aunt muzzle trained hers as people have walked up and not asked to pet her. I dont think people read it either. He just needs space, so maybe get him the harness and in a bright color right needs space. Or dont pet in training, as in always training them. Although he isnt a service dog.
I know. I train every walk even ever time they go outside. There is always something to be training for.In training doesn’t necessarily mean service dog nor is it deceiving people if that’s what you’re thinking. There’s lots of things to be training for.
Ive though about that he was going through a fear stage but this started about a month after his obedience/training classes ended. So that was like 3 months ago. He isnt terrified of people but he is nervous meeting new people especially men. Like i can take him into a store and he can be fine till a guy asks to pet him. Also Tucker might just be going through a fear period. Brewster did. Loved everybody as a puppy and then suddenly scared of certain people then back to loving everybody once the fear period was over. He also was terrified of plastic bags lol
Yeah there always is for sure.I know. I train every walk even ever time they go outside. There is always something to be training for.

I know Denver did go through a fear stage. Because when she was a puppy she loved everyone. Then at around 10 to 11 months old she was more nervous around people. Then a few weeks later she went back to being the extra people loving puppy.
Thanks for the linka
Maybe he is still in a fear stage i just though it would be over by now. He is only nervous of people. And gets so excited he barks at dogs.Yeah there always is for sure.
And I still think it could be a fear period. He’s at the perfect age for it and the length of time varies per dog. Brewster’s lasted for months too and I thought it would never end then one day it did. Other dogs it’s only a few weeks like you experienced.
And you’re welcome.
Every dog is different. Some seem to last forever lol and Brewster whines and cries and lunges at dogs cause he wants to playMaybe he is still in a fear stage i just though it would be over by now. He is only nervous of people. And gets so excited he barks at dogs.
