Fanta is also not fit/slightly plump I got a activity tracker for her recently. She apparently only walks when on leash

What activity tracker did you get i think Denver needs one, as she is a little plump right now to

Of course they do.

But the problem with this approach is, that puppy mills and other unethical "breeders" count on the pity that people will feel for these poor creatures and their eagerness to rescue them.

And as long as there are people willing to rescue and pay for these dogs, they will continue to produce them in high quantities. It is a big industry with high ROI.

It is just the same with rescuing spent and sick battery hens. On top of exploiting and mistreating their victims, the farmers get even more money from the rescuers.

Of course, they will see no need to change their evil ways as it is an ongoing practice well paid for.

Yeah that makes sense. If I ever got one it would be through a real rescue. There’s tons in rescue now.
