I also read you’re supposed to weigh like every month but I’m not doing that cause idk if they’ll charge for us to use the scale lol

I go by body score not weight, no scales needed! And more accurate to tell if they are the correct weight or not

I don’t know if they would or not lol they might charge us for an “office visit” lol

All of the vets here have scales in their waiting room, some of the big pet shops also have scales

maybe you should try cani-walking having something that differentiates sniffy walks and walk-walks can help with sniffing on walk-walks. And if they haven’t had enough/any time to sniff it will be harder to stop them from sniffing

That’s a good idea lol and I do that too especially because muscle is heavier but I do also like weight lol

The scale at our vet isn’t in the waiting room but also isn’t in the exam room. They have a room with no door that the scale is in lol

Tucker will only jump 4 to 8 inches and won't jump 12. He gets to scared.

I’m not sure the harnesses still fit him and also are kind of a pain to put on him so I might just use the slip lead for speed walking and the regular collar and leash for sniffing lol

I have to use a slip lead for Denver because she outgrew her harness.
It worked well to keep her from sniffing

Thanks! That’s good to know. I’ve used it a couple times and he’s good on it but I just usually prefer the regular leash. But I want a distinction so I’ll start using it.
