Willow has a vet appointment on the 4th, I just wanted to establish a vet for her and get her checked. She walks good for awhile but then she'll just suddenly stop and refuse to move, it's probably a training thing but just in case I want to make sure she's all good

Is she wearing a harness or anything similar? Pepsi does this when she is wearing a harness because she finds the girth strap uncomfortable when walking

My last dog (half Pyr) used to do that. It’s a Pyrenees “I am lazy and do not want to walk any further” thing LOL sometimes puppies in general do it too. When they are tired. But still good to get it checked. But he used to even lay down

She lays down too one time we stopped and sat under a tree for like 20 minutes to give her a rest and when we got up she walked like 5 steps and stopped again

Oh geez!!! one time my brother decided to take the dog on a run and he had never usually run before let alone that far. They got about halfway down the big road they got to and the dog refused to freaking move LOL he had to call his friend to come pick them up

my mom had to come pick us up that day as well lol I noticed she does it more when it's warmer out too

Oh gosh lol it’s probably hot with the coat maybe. It’s a Pyrenees thing though hahah

I calculated it and turns out one loop is about .5 miles and one (the big one) is only about .7 miles. I thought for sure it was a mile. It seems much further to me LOL but oh well.
